Overview
The Finnmark FD-5 Trinity XL is the flagship of the Finnmark lineup — a 3-person, full-spectrum infrared and steam sauna combo that delivers the most complete home sauna experience available anywhere. Built on the same dual-modality Trinity platform as the FD-4, the XL adds a larger cabin, expanded heater array, and greater capacity for families, training groups, or wellness enthusiasts who want the ultimate home recovery environment. Switch between full-spectrum infrared (up to 170°F) and wet steam (up to 212°F) at the touch of a button.

- Ideal for elite athletes and coaches who use sauna as a structured recovery tool and need capacity for multiple people simultaneously.
- Ideal for high-end home wellness rooms and dedicated sauna spaces where the FD-5 serves as the centerpiece of a complete recovery setup.
- Ideal for commercial micro-wellness studios — small recovery studios, private training facilities, or executive wellness suites where a premium 3-person sauna is required.
- Ideal for contrast therapy protocols at scale — pair with a commercial cold plunge for a complete group hot/cold recovery circuit.
How It Compares
The FD-5 Trinity XL is the largest and most capable sauna in the Finnmark lineup. Compared to the FD-4 Trinity, it adds a third seat, a larger cabin, and an expanded heater array for more even infrared distribution across all three positions. Compared to standalone 3-person infrared saunas, the Trinity XL adds a full steam generator — no other 3-person home sauna combines full-spectrum infrared and steam at this level. For buyers evaluating commercial-grade saunas vs. premium home units, the FD-5 delivers commercial performance at a fraction of the cost and footprint of a built-in steam room.
